He's also good bc he has command of 3 pitches in any count. Lange can't even do that but I guess a lot of college pitchers can't. He's going to be good

Nothing gonna be about it, he is good now. It will be interesting to see the pitching rotation come regionals

Missing key stats. Hitting with runners in scoring position and productive at bats with less then 2 outs.
Where can those stats be found?

ETA: Back to the original topic, Walker's W/L record is helped by him always starting against the other team's #3 weekend starting pitcher.

He is not pitching to the 3rd starter, he pitches to the same guys Lange & Poche do on Friday & Saturday...
And his last 3 starts have been better than those 2...

What about his other stats? Almost all of which are better or equal to Lange and Poche.

ERA:

Walker - 2.48
Poche - 2.67
Lange - 3.27

WHIP:

Walker - 0.975
Poche - 0.977
Lange - 1.261

K/BB:

Walker - 4.333
Poche - 3.231
Lange - 4.059

Opp BA:

Walker - 0.210
Poche - 0.210
Lange - 0.245

But our hitters are hitting against their 3rd starter when Walker is pitching, hence my reference to the W/L record and not ERA.

And he has gotten very little run support the last few weeks. 2 against arkansas, and 3 against ole miss, what was it, 3 against A&m?

By being a national top-8 seed for the fifth consecutive year and losing in the super-regional to the eventual national champion.

Your point?

Yep and 10 runs at Florida the week before that.

Walker has also been the victim of two bullpen blown saves this season, Texas Tech (Newman) and Tex A&M (Gilbert), or he would have had two more wins in his W/L record.

Not sure but I can guarantee that is the stat that is less than last year.
