Its his right on his time not the fans.

1. It's not his "right." The First Amendment only applies to the government, not private entities. Yes, the gov't can't punish him for kneeling, but his employer can.
2. he's not kneeling "on his time." It's on his employer's time, and while wearing his employer's uniform.

It's not treasonous, but it is without question is ugly as frick, and indicative of a very spoiled rotten nasty people I want NOTHING to do with. I certainly won't be supporting that kind of behavior. I promise you that much. That's the ugly America you were looking for.

To me it's a clear business decision. If an employee is making some political statement WHILE ON THE CLOCK AT WORK, and that action hurts the business, then employer can fine or fire said employee. Pretty simple.

If an employee wants to exercise his/her free speech rights and take a political stand outside of work, more power to them, no problem. If I had an employee that was making some type of protest, at work, that offended some of my customers, they would be warned and then fired if it continued.

NFL owners have the right to act or not act on this issue, and deal with the consequences either way. I for one don't want politics during a sports event, and will continue to watch less if it continues.

Disgusting behavior and something I would not have thought he would have partaken in. Goes to show what peer pressure will do to even the best. No one wants to see politics when turning football on, and these players are just hurting their futures as many Americans are simply turning football off as I have lately by canning ESPN, and turning off the NFL. These rich, spoiled athletes forget where they came from and how privileged they are to simply be in this country much less living a lifestyle that 99% of everyone else can only dream of. Trump is right, and I'm so glad we finally have a president with the balls to call out things that wrong since he's independently wealthy and doesn't owe anyone a darn thing!

I am a retired Air Force veteran and I approve of your post and of the right to peacefully protest.

Lol, nowhere does it say kneeling for the national anthem is wrong. That's just something you morons have found to be a titty baby about. It's so ironic that for all the people who hate being PC, they are the ones who are most offended by something like this.

Lol, if he doesn't think exactly like you think he should, then frick him right? This is what America has become.

Everyone in the NFL is overpaid and its comical that they have this much sway over the public while our law enforcement receives less pay and negativity. Stupid.

COMMIE! SOCIALIST! ANTI-CAPITALIST!!!

It's all about pure free market capitalism until you bring up black professional athletes. They absolutely deserve what they make considering what their work makes for the owners and league. Nothing but a bunch of bitter, tired, jealous, sad, unlearned snowflakes screaming on here and social media today.

I don't think you understand what a person's first amendment rights entail.
