We win games in spite of JJ...

We are very talented, but would you include him in the "We are talented conversation" ? He is big and strong, but not a good QB... Joe Montana was slow, short and didn't have a big arm...So what does that tell you?

I am not hatin on him...I want him to succeed.. but I have seen enough...he is not LSU level...

Why recruit all these 5star WR if you don't plan, or can not go deep

JJ is below average completing passes inside of 15 yards..

Watch other football teams...it seems every team in the top 35 has a better QB than we do...

WE are LSU...we are top 5

do it like Cholly Mac used to...play one quarter, then the other qb plays one,...until one outperforms the other...leave one in....hell, Bert Jones NEVER played an entire game at LSU>..always substitued.....

I wouldn't say JJ has won any game this year.

He just hasn't lost one either.

I can't think of any game that I would say that JJ "won" for us. He is serviceable but not impressive.

The state of our QB position, starters and backups. Utilize what we have now, as they will win us a ton of games (running backs and defense), until the next stud QB comes along. We will have it, we just don't right now.

What has JJ done that has led you to put so much confidence in him?

And you calling for JJ to be starter implies confidence in him, unless you don't and have motives to want LSU to be unsuccessful.

Look, dude, you posted twice information that was blatantly a lie. But right, you made an "obvious" error, and I'm the idiot for not "knowing what you meant".

Then why are you arguing JJ needs more time to develop?

JJ just cannot hit receivers in stride. He has to have the receiver stop and even then his accuracy isn't the best, but it is awful when the WR is moving.

You're better on the OT.

Why would I "lie" when their is evidence to the contrary in you posts? If you think my argument is FOR JJ, why would I argue against him? Are you really that obtuse? It was an obvious error in initials. Typing JJ v. JL gets difficult when using them multiple times in a post, especially when hungover in bed. I didn't see anything speaking to what you know was my point, so I will assume you have nothing to say about it.

And, sure, you can call me a loser. I'm sure it will make your day. That post was full of relevant (to me) opinions, but you choose to focus on that sentence. Interesting. And it wasn't a knock. To me, your existence is meaningless, and I'm sure it is mutual. We don't matter to most people in the world, just to let you know.

And just so you don't misunderstand, the OT comment was to point out that I think you are funny on that board. You are just sounding like you are desperate for approval in this case.

Don't let the internet impact your life, double rainbro

I give up. I can't reason with someone who is unreasonable.

I'm going back to the OT. I didn't think those people could be more reasonable, but damned if they aren't.

Also, you need to quit telling other posters that they suck or that they're morons when they have a different opinion than you.

ETA: That actually goes for everyone. If you can't have a civilized discussion without resorting to grade school insults, you shouldn't be here.

I'm seriously trying to help you understand what is confusing and contradictory. You said this:

quote:

But you have to give them a chance to develop. I thought that went without saying, but I guess some people need to hear it.

When you were asked how long they needed to be given to develop, you say this:

quote:

Setting a timline is dumb. Call it pussying out, as your infintley wise mind would do. I can't know how long it takes people to master their craft, and claiming that would be dishonest. My main arguement is that either could start, and neither would blow your mind. You think differently, but that's your right.

Believing they need time to develop, but believing a timeline is dumb is contradictory.

JJ was not the reason why we won last night

If anything, JJ cost us scoring opportunities by missing open receivers, not leading receivers so they could get YAC, and limiting our passing to short routes therefore allowing Vandy to stack the box limiting our rushing game.

I have put 08 in my rear view mirror and I wish more could, but each to our own.

Looking at 09 and 2 games into 10, I can't see anything which makes me call for a QB change.

Lee needs to see action when possible cause he is the back-up and therefore one play from the starter.

We are 2-0,1-0 and coming off a 24 pts SEC road game win and #12 in the Coaches Poll.

I'm not pulling any trigger just yet.

The QB change needed is for both to play. Neither QB on scholarship is capable of carrying this team by themselves, or hasn't proven it on the field yet. Both need to be receiving playing time, with the hot hand getting the majority of snaps.

This is all Ive been trying to say... don't pull the trigger just yet but I also don't see any problem with a hovering finger.

JJ has won LSU exactly 1 game in his entire LSU career bub. That was the Georgia Tech game.

I gotta give him the Auburn game from last year. He came out nailing passes and leading us to scores early and often in that one. He threw for 240+, threw two TDs and had a long TD run. It was 24-3 before Shepard had his long TD run.
