You say this:

quote:

Jayden Daniels is our QB1 in ‘23 if he returns. Folk need to come to terms with that. Walker will have his time to shine. It just won’t be next year, unless Daniels totally shits the bed or he gets hurt.

Then you say this:

quote:

They need to get JD5 some hypnotherapy or something to figure out whatever mental block he has about throwing the ball over the middle and further than 5-10 yards Down the field.

It's foolish to assume Daniels will remain the starter if he doesn't improve. You think Kelly will accept that?

No. Either Howard or Nuss will step up or we'll get another transfer.

There were 3 plays where players were open and would have scored TDs

That's totally false, look at the film, there were receivers open down the middle of the field numerous times and we just didn't throw to them. The short passes we were determined to throw were covered, because they knew JD wasn't going to air it out.

IF JD hands off to emery on the 3rd and 1, instead of making up his mind to run the ball on the option read, Emery is still running and the game is much much closer and possibly a W. That play determined the rest of the game imo.
