The LSU Athletic Department has black balled him ever since his little fiasco of giving numerous false hints on the air in 2007. He basically threw Miles and the team under the bus the entire week following the loss to Arkansas.

Buddy Songy is nothing more than an extended radio commercial and any of the substantive sports talk is with close friends of his that think they have the inside scoop.

You're NOT a coach. You're nobody. These coaches make the best decisions for the team and if there is anyone better, they would be playing.

Flash back to the 2001-2002 Seasons.... Hookfin. Fans bashed him left and right. However, he was the best we had. If anyone was better, they would be on the field instead.

Wow, sorry i was on my phone so i didn't have time to make sure everything was spelled correctly. And to finish my thought, who do you think would be a better fit? Who is out there that is a better recruiter? It just amazes me some of the pure dumb things that people on this board say about our coach. Do you know he is THE ONLY COACH IN LSU HISTORY TO BEAT ALABAMA, FLORIDA, AUBURN AND OLE MISS IN THE SAME YEAR, and he did it twice. He is also one of the only coaches to ever have back to back 10 win seasons, and he did it 3 years in a row. He has a great record against teams on our side of the conference. He has yet to lose a game against a team that isn't in our conference. He has destroyed every team that we have played in bowl games, while your precious nick satan lost 2 times in those games. And these are just a few of the things he does and yet you want someone else? Really? Unless God is available to coach our team, i say you should just be happy we have as good of a coach as we do. Is he perfect? No. But no coach is, so just quit whinning and realize that 10 years ago we were terrible.
