I don’t want or need him benched but we are unfortunately in a position where we can’t lose any more midweek games so we don’t have the luxury of letting too many guys work through a slump in these games.

If coach is putting him in its for a reason. He is not only a better baseball mind than most of this board combined he also has much more data than all of us combined. Not only gametime data but he see's this kid practice and interacts with him.

We need every W we can get from here on in so I don’t understand the callous attitude some have about the game tonight (0 and 1s) reference Yorke playing. Recent indications are the poor fellow is ‘in over this head’. Midweek games afford ideal opportunities without too much risk to evaluate personnel at different playing positions. I’m anxious to see Jay’s approach tonight to our 1B problem.

I’ll be way more upset if Yamin doesn’t get rewarded with at least a midweek start. The guy came through when given an opportunity and he was as fired up as any player I’ve seen.
