That “bad thing” is that only 0.2% of people on this message board could handle being governer?

Running for governor and being able to run the state are not the same. But to clarify... only 0.2% may be able to handle RUNNING for governor.

I upvoted in case you were being sarcastic and making fun of Jethro…

…and I’m a liberal but also old-school fan who thinks the Tiger ought to attend football games and we do away with the fireworks, not the other way around

You Landry-haters are the most pathetic people on the planet

Yeah because who would hate someone who has a small penis complex?

His ego is his problem. He put a 20% tax on streaming services. I really don't have a reason to like him. What do you like about him?

Didn't we jump like 15 states in kids reading comprehension?

Landry had nothing to do with this, although he's going to claim that he did. The changes that the Dept. of Education put in place that facilitated this improvement were put in place under the previous administration. Don't give the previous governor credit though. All credit should go to the people at the Department of Education who came up with a good plan.

Then why did the majority of Louisiana Residents vote him in as their Governor?

A majority of Louisiana residents? Stop…

But if they had, it would be because they are profoundly ignorant fricking morons.

Then why did the majority of Louisiana Residents vote him in as their Governor?

What was the turnout? A majority the people that got off their arse to vote, elected him. which as in the case of the presidential election didn't even need to be 50% of the electorate..

We have pathetic voter turnout compared to other countries.

We aren't known for our intellect in LA.

I'm trying to think of a "good" LA governor in my lifetime, (b 1960), nope, ??, all disappointments..

The first Governor I remember was Edwards, in 2013 I moved to Houston, where the corruption is also off the charts, but ignored like the sewage smell after it rains, the shitty power grid, the drive by shootings, etc

We reelected Ted Cruz....

Explains it all. He totally hoodwinked the business community. He’s a trial lawyer with an R in front of his name. He is a fraud.

He's governor in a state that's overwhelmingly Republican and most Republicans now dislike him. He's his own worst enemy. He constantly says and does moronic things and seems oblivious to the fact that he's seen that way even by those who would normally be in the corner of a sitting governor.

Republicans should really do themselves a favor and get another Republican to run against him, he's shite the bed so bad he could absolutely lose to a Democrat.
