I know this has been discussed but can't find anything in the search tab. Tickets go on sale on April 25th but we won't know what days the Tigers play until the week before. This will be my first time so for all of the experts that have been before how do I go about getting tickets on the days LSU plays?

You're not going to worry about tickets this year.

Man don’t you know, no one on the team is batting above .600 and none of our pitchers have an ERA under 0.050

There’s no way we make Omaha

You can buy tickets galore outside the stadium. They’re sold by games/day, not teams.
They sell books too, so it doesn’t matter when your team plays.

Just split the series with the #5 team in the country… this team should be ashamed. It doesn’t stand a chance.

You could just buy the ticket book and have all of the games, that way you know that you have tickets for any game that you want and, if you feel like it is worth the effort, you can sell the tix to the games that you don't want to go to. Aside from that, you can get them on secondary market or outside the stadium once the series starts, but you're at the mercy of the market at that point and the tickets could be steep.

That said, understand that it is a tournament. As teams get eliminated, a lot of their fans go home and are looking to get rid of their tickets, so it is easier than, say, getting tickets to the Box for a big SEC weekend.

I don’t believe this has been the case for the past 3-4 years.

Ask Tennessee about getting tickets early.

But to answer the original post question, don’t buy tickets ahead of time. They have a ticket to exchange / resale system that is great for getting tickets. Wait until a few minutes before the game starts and you will pick up some tickets for fairly cheap in great seats.

The most important thing is getting a hotel tickets ahead of time.
