But But But we have an awesome line was the message in the summer based on who was projected to start. Not unlike the off-season where all the defections happened when O was hired. It’s part of the problem when you don’t pay attention to your people.

If Les Miles EVER lost 5 games against the toughest schedule in the country, you’d crucify him.

It’s hilarious how you lower the bar for Orgeron.

Alabama, Georgia, Auburn (road), Florida (road), Miami, Miss St? These are not VALID reasons?

Now, I am assuming we win some of these games, but LSU could be a top 15 team in the country and still lose to 4-5 teams bc those teams are better. Our schedule is brutal.

Not close to the schedule they played in 2015.

I agree! Gonna go 10-2 I think.

But if we go 7-5 though,

Legit offensive tackles that can protect the edge.

Instead of 5 guards that do nothing but run block, look at LSU moving into the 1990s.

I need to see it before I’ll be sold, but if this is true then the concerns about real or perceived weak areas on offense will be unnecessary, and we’ll be a legit contender this year.

---------

I am extremely confident that this O led LSU team is a legit contender. From my perspective, and based on the improvements on this roster, and staff, from a team that played Bama better than UGA, and really close to a 11-1 regular season. (Without Canada, and the O hater usurping coup attempt, we never lose to State, and certainly not Troy) this is going to be a really fun season, and era of LSU football.

LSU played 5 ranked teams in 2015 and 2 were in the top 10 (Bama and Fla). In 2018, we play 5 ranked teams with 4 in the top 10 (Bama, Ga, Aub, Miami). How is 2015 harder??

LSU plays 4 top 10 ranked teams this year plus Miss St who is ranked 18th. LSU legitimately could be the 12th best team in the country and lose a minimum of 4 games to teams that are higher ranked. How does that not compute?

My fellow friends... You can scheme to help a position weakness. Say we have a weakness at right OT. You certainly could use Tory Carter in the backfield to help him out. Many many schemes that can be used. This is where coaching comes in.
We have experience in our offensive coaching staff. Let's give them some lov'in!

Ended up being the 5th hardest schedule in the COUNTRY AFTER THE SEASON.
It is about ALL the teams.
Let’s see where this one end at the end of the season because right now it is around the FOURTEENTH RANKED SCHEDULE.

You tell me which one you’d rather play. I’d take the 2015 schedule in a heartbeat over the 2018 one. The only reason the 2015 one is ranked higher is bc the McNeese game got cancelled and didn’t factor into the end ranking. You realize that don’t you?

Good coaches always want the toughest schedule.

Good coaches see the hardest competition as an opportunity to test themselves and their team to the extreme, and to prove they’re the best.

Good coaches don’t make excuses or ask for patience. They don’t want others making excuses for them either.

Good coaches don’t think like you pansies who act like we have to have the perfect setup with everything lined up such as an easy schedule, no suspensions or injuries, etc, in order to succeed.

Agree. OLine is the most critical position coming into the season. And I’m not very optimistic right now on their success after losing Ingram.

No, it's because we have a bottom 15 coach.

If we had a great coach, guess what, the schedule's not as tough because that coach makes you more competitive.

You’re right. Saban NEVER complains about anything.
