Ole Miss win and the Kiffin hate

I've noticed this morning that the feeling in Oxford is one of relief as if a huge burden has been removed. I did not want us to lose but maybe it deflates so much of the media animus behind the Kiffin hate. Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin, and everyone else can move on. The whole thing is stupid but that's the way it's going to play out.

I’m upset as anyone that we lost, especially coming back from down and losing it so close in the end. However, I can’t help but think that this game was against us from the beginning, bc karma was against Lane.
It’s almost like karma wanted Ole Miss to win, so that the balance could be restored. Now that being said, we MUST get things back on track for this Saturday night’s matchup and the remainder of the season. I still trust in Lane

The reality of it is that the game was always going to be a wild atmosphere and LK didn’t make it better, but that’s who he is and who he has been. I have no illusion about him and his ability to detach himself from reality and say just about anything to stir shite up. You should do the same and not worry about it.
Let’s just see if he can win games, especially the big ones.

What I don’t understand about all of this is “the hate” and headlines like “OM got their revenge”. This was all fabricated by the OM fanbase and media gaslighting them.

I had one tell me they got the last laugh and I replied how so? Unless you win a natty, which Ole Miss has never done in its history, without Kiffin you really haven't accomplished anything other than win a game by one score over a completely rebuilt team only in its 3rd game. Yeah that set him off...frick Ole Miss...

Just out of curiosity, what do you think the Save College Sports Act is going to do to hurt Ole Miss currently. Because I just don't see that happening. Literally NO ONE on the national stage is even mentioning how he's actually an ineligible player lol. I don't think anything is going to happen. Unless the other conferences stand up to the SEC about it. The NCAA has no power apparently. The CFP doesn't give a shite apparently. Neither does the Heisman trophy trust.
