Its a fact that Green threw for 300’yards on Ole Miss.

It’s a fact Arky put up 500+ total yards on Ole Miss.

So the one competent QB they faced they got shredded.

Run it up there arse! That is there weakness, run defense. But, I'm sure they will put 8 in the box and make Nuss throw to beat them. If we cannot run we will lose. Control the clock and keep OM off the field.

As I have said, LSU will count itself fortunate to leave Oxford with a W this year.

LSU is going to break Ole Miss down this weekend. Ju'an Johnson looks like he is finally ready to take over for a power running game. Nuss looks like he is rounding into form, and i think we might start utilizing more of our dangerous backup WRs.

May it be so. I have little confidence in the offense.

Meh….
Averages
Ole miss - 9thOf(total) /72D(total)
LSU - 69thOF(total)17D(total)

Opponent avg
Ole miss - 58OF(total)/109D(total)
LSU - 92OF(total)/52D(total)
The LSU defense avg matches well with the Ole Miss Offense average
The Ole Miss defense matches well
with the LSU offense average

Know what this shows?
No one has a clue how they will match up until they hit the field. Thats why they play the game.

No misconceptions until Lane can prove consistency on winning the big games we don’t deserve a benefit of the doubt.

However I was surprised with the LSU ranking total defense 17 by the talking on all these boards they were top 5.

Hotty Toddy and GTH LSU will be fun!!

I wouldn’t trade this defense for any other defense in the country.

Last game i saw Nuss go under center and we ran well. They see stuff like that on tape. Plus pass blocking has been decent for the most part this year, and Ole Miss has a terrible run defense.

LSU will have to throw a ton because their run offense is even more terrible.

La Tech has a better defense than OM. They will have some good athletes like Q Perkins and a few others.

I’ll say one thing for Tech’s defense. They were well coached, had a plan, and executed the hell out of it. I was very impressed with them.

I’ve never been much of a Golding fan. He’s not some mastermind and never has been. He requires elite talent to succeed. He didn’t have it in 23 and their defense was a fricking joke. Not as bad as we were, but still pretty bad. This team is trending back to looking below average without the same talent across the front 7.

I understand that most DCs do require elite talent to be good, but some can scheme around issues better than others. Baker has that capability, even if he can’t fully work around having no Safeties and only one SEC-starter level CB.

WRONG their pass defense yards allowed is 23rd in the nation stop being football ignorant and regurgitating dumbass false narratives.

They haven’t played a team with a great passing attack this season, so you might dial it back a bit there. In fact, Arkansas is the only decent one, and Green is as hot and cold as it gets as a passer. They haven’t really been tested yet.

From what I’ve seen, their D looks closest to what we faced with SLU—soft in the secondary and inconsistent up front. Unless they dial up something new, our WRs should have a field day and JD5 could light them up for big numbers.

Would love to see that. If the offense keeps rolling and the secondary stays as leaky as it looks, Nuss might get plenty of snaps to show what he can do. Could be the perfect stage for him to make a statement.

That's just great we couldn't run against SLU probably won't run on Ole Miss even if they were dead last.

The only team with a real passing game they have played is Arky and gave up 305 yds passing. Tulane is 11th in passing the AAC. Georgia State avgs 238 yds per game. KY is last in the SEC with 170 yds per game.

Let’s put some context to that ranking.

OM def doesn’t get after the QB very much. They are 14th in sacks and 12th in TFL in the SEC. They are 13th in total D. They have played one good offensive team in Arkansas so far.
