As a long time LSU fan, settling for field goals after 1st and goal inside the 5 makes me flash back to all the bad parts of the Les Miles era and last year under BK.
Breaking a long run down to the 2 and then kicking a fg 4 plays later is how you get beat by better teams.
Hopefully they get this figured out before Saturday.

Our red zone strategy should be to throw 3 fades to our 6’7 tight end. I’m not sure why he wasn’t schemed more into red zone plays. It’s not like they are hiding the fact that he’s an elite jump ball threat. Everyone knows it and still nobody can stop it. Throw him the ball

I think the RZ issues had much more to do with poor execution/turnovers than playcalling.

With the defense we have, we need to protect the ball in the red zone and just take the points. 3 points is less frustrating than 0

After watching them try to force it to 7 last night, I am not confident in leavitt’s ball placement on those types of throws.

Sounds like their game plan is to give up field goals and try to answer with touchdowns.

Yeah that one fade he threw to Green in the SEZ was terrible. Waaaay too low and short. He's got to get that ball up where only a 6'7" guy can get to it.

TFL when things are compressed and even with extra linemen and bigger help in the back end against a smaller team didn’t work. Spread their asses out and use your speed.

The one back shoulder throw to 7 was really 7's fault. The throw was in the right place, but 7 has to push him further up the field and get an arm out to create separation. Had he done either of those, it's a TD.

Would definitely leave that in the arsenal for one attempt, but what seemed to work last night was Leavitt using the threat of his legs on a roll out to suck in the defenders and exposing an open receiver in the back of the end zone.

They could have thrown a slant to Green as well.
