Auburn used this tactic against Mainieri a few years ago. They had like 4 or 5 lefties in the bullpen, started a righty so Mainieri played the matchups and started a bunch a lefties, then Auburn pulled the starter and their lefties feasted.
Doesn’t really make sense there though. Ole Miss isn’t exactly stacking their lineup with left handed hitters and we aren’t loaded with LHP’s

That wouldn’t have sold it. Dutton’s been our Sunday starter, so Ole Miss set their lineup assuming he’d let him go. And with all our top relievers rested, we didn’t need anything from Sammy. It’s a weird position we’re only in because of how yesterday went. A little gamesmanship. Kinda bush league, but frick it. We’ve got to salvage this 1 win today.
