Does anybody have any information on his return?

Unbelievable athlete. Unfortunately he's been injury prone. If he stays healthy he could be really good

Won the starting job last year before injury.
Have high hopes

He was very active against Bama a couple years ago when he came back. Interested to see how tDave utilizes him.

Donnie Alexander> Thompson

This guy really is good and could have a really big year. He graduated last year so hopefully he can focus on his game and training and recovery to his/our advantage.

Isn't Donnie Alexander a MLB?

He's the next breakout LB if we aren't counting White

I saw him in person last year before the a&m game and he is bigger than he is listed on the roster to me. I think it all comes down to whether he can stay healthy. He's tailor made for his field LB position.

Gotcha, I'm excited about this LB corps.

White could end up being the best LB to ever play at LSU before he is done.
I'm a huge Eric Hill fan. I don't count Key and some of the other hybrid lbs/ safeties as true LBs. so my list is fairly narrow.

Divinity has some potential too.

I think White is going to be an absolute stud for the next 2-3 years. I think he'll be the best player in our defense this year.

We lost a ton of defensive production last year. There's no doubt about that but looking across the board at the defense there is a lot to like. Thompson and Donnie are veterans and white & key are dominant. We have several beast to hold it down untill key is back. White will fill beckwiths void. He may even be better. There is no replacing Adams but as good as white was I believe a healthy KT and Donte will be very good. The dline will be better. Phillips and Taylor should come on fast under Aranda and divinity played a lot as a true freshman. We're big enough at linebacker to handle physical fronts like Bama and arky but also have quicker guys like Corey & Donnie to handle the a&m and ole miss offense. Auburn will be tough because they have physical olineman and a big physical back but show a lot of spread looks. We will need to be big and strong in the middle but run sideline to sideline well too. This is a year where if we're not ready to play well auburn could get their first win in TS this Millenium. Overall our D will win us some games.
