Hahah sour grapes. OU fans will never forgive LSU for ruining their year. Like we were supposed to lose. Chumps. Then they take it again from Tebow hahaha. Stoops sucks.

They do this for the simplest of reasons. Those fans are like Granny Clampett; they’re still fighting the Civil War.

I was born in California and spent half of my childhood out west. When I participated in the SEC chant, the Civil War never crossed my mind. Its just a way of rubbing it in to the opposition - all in fun.

Actually, I hope they (Alabama) are undefeated when we kick their arse.

Come to think of it, have any of the other teams even won a BCS bowl in the last five years?

Have any of the SEC West teams besides LSU won a BCS game...ever?

For me, it's not about "Conference Pride" at all...

I pull for SEC teams because victories against (quality) OOC opponents can lead to a rise in rank and therefor better for LSU whenever we defeat them during conference play.

I'm not a "fan" of any other SEC team (Except maybe Vandy because I'm a sucker for an underdog ).

It is what makes us different, which is a good thing. SEC> other conferences

I should probably temper my above post by saying that my attitude towards other SEC schools is better in post-season situations - kind of a "respect for your enemy" situation.

Let's see.
You go undefeated like a hot knife through butter through your "conference"
Vince Young beats you single-handedly.
That spells O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D

Uh, was this a reply to anything in particular or did you just realize your initial argument was retard.

You said '04 Auburn would've given '04 SC "all they could handle" because Texas '05 beat SC '05.

When I pointed out how that argument makes no sense, you reply with, SC '05 was overrated. And that means '04 SC was overrated?
Please tell me you're not a college grad.

On a trip through Okla a few years ago, my 12 year old daughter made a comment. It went like this. "NOW I know why they gave it to the indians".

That pretty much sums it up.

If it wasn't for Texas FB players, OU and Ok St
couldn't generate 7 wins between them.

SEC west is 5-0 in BCS games..
The real question is has anyone besides the SEC, USC, and anyone who plays Oklahoma ever won a BCS game.. EVER..
