Could be. We definitely chanted it at the NC vs Ohio State. Everyonoe was chanting SEC. The announcers even mentioned it during the broadcast

But leave out the part that "That same Auburn team was beaten by USC the two previous years."
That was not the same SC team by a long shot. And I reckon that that Auburn team was a different too.

I find it hard to believe you have never rooted, cheered or whatever for another team to win if it was going to help the team you are a fan of. And yes I will root for the frickung humps if them beating ole miss Arkansas or auburn will get us to Atlanta.

i dont mind LSU and UF chanting since you guys have won 4 of the last 6 NC. what i dont get is how other teams to try to talk smack as if their teams have done anything. i get UT, ole miss, MSU, auburn, etc talking trash that their champions and blah blah blah i tell them they aint won shite.

If you can't win your bowl game after playing that soft conference schedule, then you're very overrated.

:), You don't hear "Pac-10 Pac-10" or "Big 10 Big 10" because none of those conferences can claim they are the best in the country. We believe we are the best, and until another conference can take down our conference champ in the NC game we will continue to chant "SEC SEC."

We do it because we take pride in what we do as a conference. Oklahoma has nothing else to hate the SEC for, besides total ownage of OK, so he writes a crappy article hating the SEC.
