It has been clarified that no physical fight occurred. But look closely at the way Gordy made his statement. He did not say there was not a lot of dissension and disagreement. It is often what is not said that is the most telling.

You know, LSU has quite a few moronic fans. So does Alabama. You are one of Alabama's.

You're cool.

He also did't say that tacos were the pre-game meal.

The players being flat doesn't make sense to me becaus the defense played very well. They were on the field most of the game, and got no help from the offense. I'm not sure how only one unit, the offense, could be flat.

Jefferson was off that game, and Al has a great defense. With no real threat of a vertical passing game, AL's defense had a field day.

We'll never know why Miles didn't play Lee, but it doesn't have to be some secret reason that no one can divulge. Maybe he was expecting the offense to turn around like it did against ARK and GA. Maybe he just made a bad decision. Maybe he was just outcoached. Maybe all of the above, but it doesn't have to be the soap opera people are looking for. We got beat. It's over.

And if we played a third time LSU would win. 13-1 is better than 12-1. WE ARE THE BETTER TEAM . Alabama just caught us flat.

No question about it. Go back and you your fan bases posts after 11/5. Same as now with us. However we do not get a do over like Bama, but if we did LSU would win. Alabama is not that good.

We let yall off the hook the first time. The second time, we blew the doors off of your team.

Well we do know this:

-Les Miles has favorites (pets) and a doghouse.
-What you produce on the field does not affect either of the above.
-JJ was a pet.
-Lee was in the doghouse.
-The only reason Lee played at the beginning of the year was JJ was suspended by the university.
-From a team win and rank standpoint, Lee could have done nothing more than he did.
-Once JJ was reinstated, Les handed the team over to him, period.
-Despite JJ's continued regression each game at the end of the year, and the offenses' regression to 2010, JJ was given the team and Lee benched, no matter what happened on the field.
-LSU was undefeated with Lee as the starter this year, and trounced in the BCSNCG with JJ as the starter.
-Miles has refused to provide a reasonable explanation as to why.
-Teammates have commented publicly that they were surprised that Lee was not used, and practiced packages where he would in fact be used.

Les doesn't owe the fans anything. The fans on this site don't owe Les anything, either.

I did not see it that way. We had chances to beat you guys by more at your house. Until Trent made the touchdown late, you were crapping your pants on Jan.9, that we were coming back. You won the 2011 bcsnc and I give you credit, but you are delusional if you think Bama was better than LSU. Equal but not better.

Thank you! Well organized and certainly all true as we all know from experience, watching this team and coach in action.

There's overwhelming confirmation from LSU affiliates and people who work for Les Miles that every bit of this fight did happen. How much $$$$ does this site get from LSU to do PR? Lying to fans needs to stop.

If bama had made a few field goals and beat LSU by three in November, the roles would have been reversed. How would bama and their fans have felt to have to play LSU again in the BCS to win the championship?

Was Bama just that good that night?

5 FG's and a VERY late TD and holding TR to under his season average doesn't equate to "good" IMO.

There is something we don't know about the situation. Hopefully it'll come out so at least that poor showing can be explained.
