I believe we can beat Duke, but KBW is not your best defender to put on Zion. You have to have someone more athletic. You have to put Emmitt or Days on him, let Sky guard J.T. Barrett.

We don’t have anyone who can guard Zion. Days is probably the closest combo of size/quickness but he’s way too foul happy.
Realistically we’d have to pack the paint and let Zion/Tre Jones/reddish try to beat us from outside...if they hit shots, oh well

The "Hack a Shaq" strategy is the way to beat them. Put him on the line. He's a bad free throw shooter: 64% on the season and 22% last night.
If I were coaching against him, I would have long stretches with a walk-on next to him fouling him as the ball was being passed to him.
If he beats you from the line, oh well.

Marlon Taylor is our best defender, but far too small for Zion.

I agree with this. We would have to use a platoon strategy and foul him a lot. He's not a good FT shooter and making him earn it from the line all night will also hopefully keep him from getting into a groove. We just have to hope we can have a bunch of guys foul him and not have too many foul out.
