LSU Has lost to just about every Louisiana team this year.

Also as I pointed out in other posts, LSU has 20 pitchers on their roster yet we have nobody who is competitive in midweek games. HOW THE HELL DOES THAT FUKING HAPPEN?

We don't need to give "good Ole Paul" another year because it is obvious that CPM has not done his job for TWO YEARS.

You can down vote all you want but CPM did this to himself. What a horrible job he has done all the way around in the last 2 years. He should be fired.

Woodward will probably give him one more year to right the ship. After that, all bets are off.

Notice all the Paul Maneri backers are awfully quiet. I think we have even seen some flip sides after tonight. There are still some downvotes in there, but no Maneri fan wants to come out and say anything. I think there is now a pretty good majority who have finally had enough of this garbage. It’s time.

Well what was this year? After last year this WAS the year CPM should have
"turned it around". Instead LSU has gone on a statewide losing tour of Louisiana.

Now it comes to light that we have a pitcher who has been cleared medically to pitch not once but twice and had 2 MRIs to show him that his arm is ok but the kid just doesn't want to pitch.
I have never even heard of this.

CPM has lost this team and giving him another year will do nothing but delay the inevitable.

LSU needs to tell CPM "Thanks for the past but we need to move in another direction". They need to do it this year.

Ill be that guy. This team still has a chance to host a regional this year, no matter how much that pisses yall off.

I'm disgusted, and pissed off. This season hurts like hell, for somebody who has been excited about this season since the deadline for players to sign for the MLB draft passed last summer. I was very much looking forward to this season, and now it seems like it was all for not. I invested too much time and energy into baseball, and it sucks.

However, I'm still holding out hope that we get healthy and get it going. And I still don't think CPM should be fired. Another season like this next year, regardless of injuries or anything else that may arise, and I'll start getting behind him being let go. Although it would suck to see happen.

Went from still having a chance to win the SEC, to still having a chance to host a super, to still having a chance to host a regional. You're running out of things to fall back to.

Id feel better if we had one of our injured pitchers back, but this lineup is talented enough for us to runoff 5 of the last 6 sec games.

The ultimate goal is and always should be Omaha. Winning the SEC locks up all the below things. Getting a national seed helps get to Omaha. Hosting helps, but is less ideal. If none of these happen though, LSU gets healthy, and makes a run to Omaha, the goal is still met.

Ok. I will check back with you after this coming weekend when LSU goes to Arkansas and gives up 35 runs in 3 games.

Then you can tell me what possible reason we will have to bring back this coaching staff.

LSU is 30-19. Screw hosting. LSU may not even make the tournament. Losing to all these in state teams will do wonders for LSUs power rating.

The wheels have already come off.

Gotta make the post season to do any of that. That's looking less likely every day

Everyone who has blamed the coaching staff for this year hasnt really sited specific examples of poor coaching? The fanbase cant agree if the problem is injured players or hitting or pitching

. Just consider what you just said. This team still has a chance to host regional, think about that comment. This team was preseason #1. The most storied program in SEC history and arguably a top 3 program in NCAA history.
All these players that turned down money to come win a title and with 2 weeks left in the regular season. The best you can say is this team has a chance to host a regional. That is what it has deteriorated to.

Obviously the problem is consistency, as everything by the number of ways we find to lose games we shouldn't. That comes down to coaching.

Not true, mistakes have been pointed out as they happen by objective fans, it’s people like you who started with the “its early” excuse then moved onto the “injuries” excuse later.
