...continue to climb in rankings, then surpass UGA, can’t SB pick the higher ranked, as opposed to SEC runner up?

Seems I remember that this can be done, am I wrong?

Georgia also has auburn to play we have a great chance in going either sugar or fiesta. Win out and look good. Plus most of the top teams have tough games left. Seasons not over!!

Bama isn’t getting trounced by anyone. They might drop a game but it won’t be anything like what we watched last night.

You are right. I believe the sugar has to pick the sec champ if they are available. But since the CFB playoff will have the champ, the sugar can pick whoever they’d like.

I can still see the Sugar taking UGA over us, simply because they will travel better and spend more money in hotels and restaurants.

That's exactly what will happen. It's all about revenue generation for the cities that host the bowls

Yep. I do think our fans would travel to the Peach or Fiesta Bowls if we had an opponent that garnered some interest. If we get sent back to Orlando or Tampa, LSU will lose money on tickets yet again because fans will not go.

We are not getting into the playoff and have zero chance for a conference or National title.

So who gives a shite what meaningless bowl we play in.

Nobody cares about them anymore.

NY6 bowls are slotted by the CFP committee but they keep the conference affiliations in mind.

I don't think it matters what happens with UGA. Win out and we're in the NY6.

Projections today show UGA in the Sugar and LSU in the Peach vs. WVU.
