Oh well! It's not like we all really thought we'd go to Omaha

Football on the other hand is right around the corner. I guarantee you that we'll be in the playoffs. Ika and cardell Jones will be the difference along with Stingley. Look for John Emery to emerge along with Burrow to Jefferson. Ban me if I'm wrong idc. Coach O will end up being our best all-time coach before it's all said and done. If he gets some key lineman, along with the Joe Brady experiment to work, We should be back on a level we should always be. This is a talent rich state with no real instate competition. We are recruiting with that advantage along with a national name brand and are seeing the fruits of that now. Cheer for the baseball as they have one last shot, but get ready! It's going to be an epic football season.

I don’t get the melting

The Rant said we would be one & done in Hoover
Then The Rant said no way LSU would host much less make it out of a regional

I’m just happy I’m still watching LSU play baseball

I didn’t think it for the longest time this year, but I bit the cheese again after we were gifted this Super Regional at home.

This will be one of the best LSU teams of all-time. Our big hump will be one of Bama's all-time greats

I’m not sure if you actually said anything other than just listing off football players

A lot of quit in this fan base. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

It was widely known that this was a rebuilding year. Next season is the one that’s been circled as our year, just give Paul some time.

Maybe, but the team we watched today was the LSU baseball team we've watched for the last 65 games.

Here's a few key stats that give you an idea about why this team has fiddle F@#Ked around all year and lost the lead today.

254-walks given up before today! Worst in the SEC.
61- HR's allowed, 13th worst in the SEC.
Those two stats alone spell big trouble for a pitching staff.
Combine it with a team that only bats .271(6th) and slugs .413(8th) and you've got a team that's lucky to even be playing in a Super.

I hate to say it but PM has actually done an outstanding job managing mediocre talent in the tournament thus far. That said, how did the talent at LSU become so mediocre?

When they were ranked #1 at the start, almost everyone was expecting Omaha. Don’t fool yourself. CPM hyped this team in the beginning. He had NO lefties in the rotation or pen. Inexcusable
