I take it you don't read very well. I've cursed in several situations, most everyone does. I just think it's wrong to do that at a public event like a football game. I'm sure I've done it before in the past, but it doesn't make it right.
As for as posting arse and shite on here, you didn't have a problem with it, so why do you have a problem with me using them. There is a different situation at a football game where they are 90,000 people with a lot of kids in attendance and game going out on the airwaves. Children should not be allowed on this board IMO, but I know you can't stop them. We are discussing the situation which is different than directly calling someone an a-hole, or telling them they suck cock. That is what makes it childish, do you not see the difference?

I've dropped the F-Bomb in TS as well. Not proud of it, but I saw me do it. (Ron White ref) I still think it was wrong and I should not have done it.

There needs to be a broadcast email or something sent out every day of the week leading up to the game reminding students not to say stupid crap during the Oh-Wee-Oh chant. I really want this chant back.

Won't happen. After the first time they play it it's done. The students can't control themselves.

Can someone explain why saying "you suck" is such a bad thing? I personally don't like the cheer at all, but people are getting their panties in a wad about the word suck.

Agreed. If we want this back we are just going to have to deal with it. It's about not about if you think saying you suck is a big deal, it's about if they think saying you suck is a big deal. They have laid out the terms, I just hope that students will do what they have to do to get the chant back and keep it back.

I know I am not innocent. After a bad call by the ref (usually any one against LSU) I would yell "REF YOU SUCK" as loud as I could and my friends would yell "DICK" right after and that went on for about 4-5 good yells. Marshall told me to stop the cheer once and like a smartass I told him I could not control what others said I was just telling the ref he sucked.

Yall can put this one on me actually. The "You suck" chant had obviously been there for a while. A few weeks before the SC game, a few students around me started chanting "You suck dick"...i didn't like that one, didn't partake. Then during the SC game, they started the "You suck dick" chant again...so i thought it would be more relevant to change it to "You suck Cock" since we were playing the Gamecocks. I thought those people around me would start definitely start chanting it, but i didn't realize it would spread to the whole student section, much less living rooms across the nation.
So yall have me to blame. I still think it's B.S. that LSU can sell shirts saying "Beat the Cocks", but a similar chant makes the band stop playing that song.
