How confident are we that we seem him play, or even start.
Tried to avoid the rant over the past week but my body is ready.

If we didn’t see him vs Ole Miss, we won’t see him get a meaningful snap this year barring a real injury to Nuss.

Is it verified about mvb?
If so nuss better figure it out in the first quarter.

Very little. This board has this weird obsession with thinking he's some kinda of major dual threat too. If they watched him last year they'd know he can run but he's not exactly a high end threat here. Better than Nuss and more mobile, sure, but you're not looking at an good/elite runner. He more uses his feet to extend plays and runs when he needs to.
He was in negative yardage rushing last year due to his awful OL and getting sacked a ton. If you removed that I think he only rushed for 100 yards in 10 games on 60+ attempts. He's not exactly setting the world on fire with his feet.
So with that in mind - assuming Nuss is healthier - he's not sniffing the field this week. I will say if Nuss plays like poo again you have to go to MVB to see what he can do to be fair to this team.

He took first team snaps last week but probably won’t this week

Hey Booty, I had my hopes up until they were dashed. Shame on you...

It’s Nuss’ to lose but he deserves a chance after BK said he would be healed after the bye week.

Straight from the horse’s mouth. BK himself said that MVB was taking first team reps. Said Nuss was working on mental reps and was taking VR classes. (As he should have been doing all off season).

We dont need MVB to run like Jayden. We need a QB to take free yards when it's there, which is what he did when he did get to play.
We also needed Nuss to not throw into triple coverage or underthrow everything under 20 yards.
MVB can do all of those things, and while we may not light the world on fire, we can easily win out with just those 3 things.

With LSU having a bye this week, it makes a lot of sense to let MVB take the first-team snaps — especially if Nuss is nursing a nagging injury. No reason to push your starter during an off week. It’s the perfect time to get the backup some real reps and keep everyone as fresh as possible.
I still think we’ll see Nuss out there and playing the whole game. Giving MVB the practice reps doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a QB switch coming — just feels like smart roster management heading into the next stretch.
