Shep is emotional right now. After a few days, he will realize the best thing for him to do is become very best friends with a juggs machine.

If you think this team will be 6-7 next year you are out of your mind.

an unproven qb who sat behind JEFFESON fro God's sake, and we know how Les Miles loves a mobile dual threat qb. Everyone saying it's going to be Mett under center next year, i'll believe it when I see it. Miles will find him that dual threat qb and Mett will be regulated to go in and kneel the ball. The team has no faith in this coaching staff right now, what makes you think they are going to gain that faith in the off season?

6-7, 7-6, MAYBE 8-5

Coaches have lost this team.

RS will be used more next year than the last three years combined.

He should stick around. What I have seen of Mett makes me realize we will have more of a pro style offense next year.

based on what?

are we completely changing the offense? he's not a perimeter/deep WR, and that's pretty much the only WR play that occurs on this offense

My GOd you people are delusional. When has Miles EVER rean a pro style offense? Serious question. He didnt' even run it in 2007 with Flynn, and we just saw what Flynn put up in Green Bay.

After what we saw Monday (and previously as well)night I don't see how anyone can be so confident in predictions/projections of what will happen in terms of player utilization on a Les Miles coached team.

Wait until the smoke clears before making this assumption. We are still a very good team with a lot of talent. Everyone knew, that no matter what, Mett wasn't going to start this year. He was recruited so that he could come in and start next year so that the other QBs would have an extra year to develop.

You should probably just go ahead and ban yourself. You are worthless as a poster.

he knows the offense wont change much, i mean it never has. and you know he feels completely disrespected after the NC game, as he should

seriously though, did he really think he was going to get heavy PT in the NC game? Based on what? The writing was on the wall last season.

We can't overlook the fact that Bama was out for blood.. Maybe Miles felt like no matter what he did, the way Bama was playing there was nothing that would have worked.. But you have to at least try.

Well if this is the case, then I dont want anyone coaching this football team that has the "give up" mentality. That's just ridiculous.

I hope I'm wrong. I just have no faith in a coach who doesn't put team first. His Jefferson love is unforgivable.

Jesus Christ.

Have you even looked at LSU's schedule? We're 20 points better on talent alone than any team we play besides Alabama or Arkansas.

maybe he did, maybe he didnt

but shite, halfway through the 3rd quarter he's gotta be thinking, "i'm not even good enough for THIS offense?"
