It feels like there is an additional 25,000 or so die-hard LSU basketball fans since the moment Wade was suspended and Smart was benched. I don't think Smart should be penalized and don't think he should have been benched for the Vandy game.
As for this whole fiasco, if Wade/LSU gets punished, I'm ok with it as long as every other school and coach on the tapes is punished accordingly and it brings about actual change in regards to enforcing the rules in college basketball to level the playing field. Otherwise, they can kiss our purple and gold a$$e$.
