Damn dude I know you’re smarter than this. The good reason is NOTHING has been proven and this entire BS about talking to his boss is limp dick posturing and you know it. They have already talked to him. If they hadn’t talked about it before last week shame on them.
How about this statement from an AD with balls?
“We understand the circumstantial evidence is confusing but we truly don’t know all the facts. In an abundance of caution we will reserve judgment until things are allowed to play out. We don’t want to put our coach in an untenable position and we don’t want to rush to judgement. Just know we are closely monitoring the developments and take this matter very seriously. If it is proven there was wrong doing there will be serious and swift repercussions. Thank you and Go Tigers”

Bunch of retards. If I was AD I wouldn’t even show up today. I would take a personal day and go play golf.

Will Wades camp doesn't need to say a damn thing. Why would they need to refute anything? Wade isn't making rational decisions based off reactions to the media.

naw, its not like that at all. Its like putting an employee on administrative leave after a DUI while the facts are sorted out. Or putting a police officer on desk duty after he kills someone on the job. It's proper procedural protocol

"Protecting yourself" in this way isn't always the correct answer. Look at the Duke lacrosse case. Alleva "protected" the university by rushing to judgment and forcing resignations, cancelling seasons, assuming guilt. It backfired because he bowed to media pressure and jumped the gun. The same thing could easily happen here. Which is why you take the route that just about everyone has asked for, waiting for facts to come out. You'd think Joe would have learned from his mistakes but he hasn't. Which is why he and everyone else involved in this clown show must go.

Huh, then why didn’t they do it when the story first broke? I hardly think breaking the law is the same as NOT YET being accused of ANYTHING (NCAA violations)

Yea, they met last October about the first leak, which was much more mild than this one.

If he’s the AD the just read the statement I posted earlier. I know you’re about to say “he had no choice” or “someone else called the shot”. If that’s true then he’s a dickless punk. Who at LSU has been fired? what seasons have been cancelled? No one has assumed guilt. He's sitting out while they gather the facts. This pragmatic approach is best for both parties
