I’ve had one of the busier days in months have still tried to follow as much as possible, not an easy task. But this has been an outstanding day for LSU baseball regardless of what happens between now and February.
Pitching has been majorly upgraded and I’m sure we’re not done there. The catcher position has been upgraded in elite fashion, and keeping Guidry washes out Romero signing IMO. Jay really did kill this thing, he deserves a TON of praise for this draft outcome/class. And he did it while losing both main assistants/recruiters (albeit replacing them with arguably even better ones but still right before the draft). Future so bright we gonna need really high-end polarized sunglasses my baws.

$500k is better than what he is getting when you may be done in 2-3 years and never play again.They don’t make shite in the minors.Plus I would believe Wes could help him possibly develop which may increase his ability to actually achieve his goal of being a pro player.The MLB team isn’t investing a whole lot into an 8th round pick but Wes will invest a full year of his time to the fullest.Just my thoughts on it
