they boht should contend for the leadoff spot next year. Both rarely struck out and had OBP over .400.

I think Hanover will likely lead off next season. Rhymes will be placed in the middle as a good option.

YEah Rhymes hit for much more power/avg than Hanover did. Hanover had 5 XBH all year (All doubles).

and I would think they could shoot way up next draft therefore making alot more money. I think its a no brainier for both Rhymes and Hanover

I wonder if Rhymes being selected by the Yankees will make a difference even this late. Maybe Mainieri will have to pull out the "promise him a position" thing like he did with Dean to make him stay.

Tell Rhymes he can play either 1B or LF. Give him a place to play and get his bat back in the lineup.

i found the answer he was selected in the 10th by the twins

that's high for someone to come back I really don't think CPM will ahve to do much to convenience Hanover and Ryhems to come back

Raph could have a big year next year so this will jump him way up in the draft.

Rhymes would have been in OF if not for his injury that limited him to DH at end of year

I think the main reason that Dean came back was that he could play a position and up his draft stock. Problem is, he only raised it 50 spots.

He was drafted 312th overall in 2009 as a JR, and was selected 262 in 2010.

But with Hanover and Rhymes being selected so low, I see no chance they wouldn't at least try to come back and salvage their draft status.

Adam,

If we only lose the hs players that were taken in the first 6 rounds, how do you think this stacks up with last year's class and then overall rank compared to other schools, assuming the same for them. I know it is early, but just wondering what your opinion is on this.
