434k slot. Indians have one of the lowest draft bonus pools. Depends how much he wants I guess.

Teams don't always have a deal in place when picking. The draft is very fluid.

He can get over slot also he doesn’t really need the money. His dad is Miguel Cairo. Depends on fit and players in their system ahead of him. If he had a personal connection to LSU like Doughty I’d lean to him not signing. On this case, I think he signs

I doubt Cairo’s family needs the money. He probably can have the luxury of going to school if he wants. I wouldn’t say he is gone yet either.

It’s like 95%. He’s not some incredibly toolsy guy that they had to take a chance on either. Anything is possible, but for anyone who has consistently followed the draft, someone being picked this high is not a good sign.

That's my thinking. If he signs its because he doesn't want to attend college, that's my only thinking. That's what Cain and Mainieri get paid to figure out in terms of signability.
