I think both offenses struggle to be consistent. A few big plays and turnovers for both teams will lead to a 4th quarter defensive hold in the end. Last year we were the only team to hold them under 30 points. I think we continue that trend this year.

Tigers settle for a few too many FGs and Chambliss vaults to the Heisman front runner position with a GW drive.

We’ll go as far as Leavitt and this OL take us. Especially the OL. Because if we can’t get a fricking push this offense is fricked.

You have 2 coaches that are very familiar with Chambliss's tendencies and most important the way he thinks. Baker will confuse him at times with his blitz packages. I cant help but think this is a advantage. Sam needs to calm down and keep his cool, if this happens the Tigers roll. LSU 38 Ole Miss 17. Geaux Tigers.

Score will be tied at 14 a piece at the half. and both kickers miss one each. Leavitt runs for one and hits Jackson Harris for another.

Second half will be a war. Ole Miss will go ahead 17-14 in a tough 3rd quarter and will kick another at 20-14.

4th quarter is all Sam and Green as they find each other six times — two for scores. Green finishes with 8 catches for 132. Sam throws for 260 with 4 total TD. Heisman talks have begun.

Chambliss drives the rebels down for another score. Two point conversion intercepted. Ran back for a safety by TJ Dottery, 102 yards. 0:20 seconds and no timeouts left won’t be enough for Rebels to come back.

LSU runs off the field dodging drinks and objects from an unruly crowd. One of the greatest college football games of all time and LSU’s most memorable since ‘22 Bama.
