What route did Byrd run on the TD???

Nicely done. Hatch looks good, which makes me feel better about the year. I had been hearing good things, but I don't live down there and hadn't been able to see for myself.

Hatch looks comfortable. He's handing the ball off and hitting guys on short routes. He has plenty of time back there, which helps. He's not taking chances, and he seems to be relying on the safe routes.
We're not asking him to make plays, but he hasn't had to. The TD was a perfect example. Hit Byrd on an underneath route, and then he reverses field and scores by juking the DB out of his shoes.

15 yard TD pass, but the pass itself was only about 5 or 6 yards. Byrd did the rest.
