Yep! The guy we fired beat the guy we tried to hire. Just for that LSU fans should be elated with Orgeron.

I just don't understand why O couldn't keep his damn hands out of the offense, and Alleva didn't have the balls to tell him to do so or be fired.
I mean seriously, I need to rant.
O has no business being involved in actual playcalls/formations/etc on offense. The formula for him to be successful is very clear.
1. Recruit - this should be his top priority
2. Be the figurehead, say "geaux Tigers" a lot
3. Work with the DL - he's a legitimately good DL coach, so let him stay involved there
4. During games, focus on clock management, overall strategic decisions such as punt/go/FG
5. NOT DIRECTLY MEDDLE IN THE OFFENSE (or defense, but there's no reason to believe he's done that).
