Nemessis Bates (literally the only pic I could find)

Fun fact: currently serving a life sentence for paying to have a guy whacked.

Travis Daniels will always be one of my favorite players at LSU like Ben Wilkerson. Guys that gave it up for the team and I feel like got a raw deal in the end but God damn I love em.

Travis Daniels gave up his freshman year for the team all for one game. He was redshirting and never played in one game all year but depleted secondary Saban asked him to play in the championship game giving up his redshirt. He did it and literally saved our season vs Tennessee and changed the program as we know it first sec champ I was able to witness and he put the team first, Saban drafting him while at Miami I always felt like was an I'm sorry for taking a year of your eligibility you but I owe you one. He would have been a higher draft choice I think if he would have stayed for a 5th year and actually got his redshirt

Ben Wilkerson came back as a senior to help lsu and blew out his knee. He was a 2nd round pick his junior near and Saban really recruited him back to the team hard and he came back but blew out his knee and never was the same it tanked his NFL career. The media screwed him over his junior year and refused tongue him the credit he deserved much like delpits sophomore year. And the year he hurt himself the heapp3d the awards on him but to little to late. I don't even think he got drafted the injury was so bad.

But yeah Travis Daniels and Ben Wilkerson are definitely two of my favorite tigers!!!

Late to the thread! 28days!!!!!

Wasn't there a 27 that plqyed for lsu back in early to mid 2000 that was a former navy or marine. He was jacked I remember. He could squat 3x his body weight and bench 2x his body weight I remember being im awe of him I think he played on kickoff and kickoff return. I'm googling him and all 8 come up with is boyd bit that's not him.

Was bugging me and I started going through the rosters by year and found him Elice Parker lsu 99-01 a freaking stud and number 24! That man was a bad arse I wanted to get to that level of fitness for a long time and never even got close. Most I ever squated was 415 and bench 295 (machines are cheating) I was never able to get to his level in lower body explosiveness and upper body strength combo.

On another note why did he not play in 2002? Only shows him playing until junior year why? Injury?
