It seems to me that it still comes down to the winner of OU vs OSU. Amirite?

Most likely that is correct, because the computers absolutely love the Big 12. Think they are something like 28-3 OOC schedule. Compare that to Ole Miss, who has lost to both BYU and La Tech, UGA who has lost to Boise St, and Auburn who has lost to Clemson. I think Vandy and Ky may also have OOC losses, but too lazy to look it up at this point. I'm exhausted already from the discussion this morning

outside of lsu, Oklahoma, Oregon and bama, anyone else eligible? I think if okie st beats Oklahoma big, they can get back in. Does Clemson/va tech get in this if bama and Oregon lose?

The most likely scenario is that LSU gets in the MNC with no losses. That's the one I'm going with; to hell with all these other "what if" scenarios.

Given the BCS computers' love for the Big 12 this year, if OSU beats OU on Decmeber 3, they still have a great shot to go to the MNC, right?

If they knock out Oklahoma and we take care of Arkansas, that would leave Alabama and Oregon left. If a decent amount of the voters decided they didn't want a rematch, OSU looks like they would probably make it to New Orleans.

i posted this on the MSB, but i think Clemson, if they win out, has a very strong argument to face an unbeaten LSU in the NCG.

wins over Auburn and FSU
two wins over VT (VTs only two losses)
win over USCe
only loss on the road to GT

Thats better than OU and OSU, and way better than Bama.

Its close to Oregon, but again, im not in favor of Bama or Oregon getting a rematch unless they are the only two one loss teams remaining.

Rematch will not happen. Its is not fair that if LSU wins out they have to play in the sec champ game to make it to the national championship, then bama sits back chillin at home and does not have to play in the sec champ game and gets to play lsu in the big game. If the rematch happens that means LSU will have to have done more work to get there than bama. Not happening all of u can forget it we beat bama once should not have to do it again!! Just my thoughts

i should have searched for that.. your post has more info than mine..

i guess im rooting for them now.. i dont want to play Oregon or Bama again, because NCG rematches are silly and prove nothing.

LSU Matt, is Bama's best, if not only way to get in, for Oregon to lose one more time and OSU to beat OU?

I personally feel if PSU loses today and Oregon beats USC that Oregon will jump Bama and not look back if they win out

Clemson's computer score is pretty dreadful, 0.670 as of last week. They do seem like a pretty tough team, but the computers will keep them out without some major chaos and everyone losing.

As far as OSU, they're still going to have a strong computer score. With a win over OU, it may sway voters and be enough to get them back in the NCG.

With games against SC and ACC CG left, they can only go up. But it certainly looks like they far below teams like LSU, Bama, Big 12 champ, etc. and it would be too much to make up
