Currently sitting at #7

Wins:
#24 Auburn
#25 FSU
#8 Virginia Tech (3 TD win)
Plays #12 South Carolina 11/26
Rematch vs #8 Virginia Tech in ACC championship?

Losses:
Georgia Tech in a game without their starting RB, his backups coughed the ball up like they had butter on their hands.

It's unlikely they go undefeated for the rest of the season.. but if they do -- they may get in to the big dance.

it's not even close tbh. they're going to be sitting pretty if they keep winning. that's a tall order though.. they have a very tough remaining schedule.

They are #6 or 7, seems about right to me.
They were whipped by a 4-3 ACC team.

for now, how do you think it would look if they beat a top-15 SEC team (South Carolina, #12) and #6-8 Virginia Tech with Oklahoma and Alabama idle?

That is a HUGE boost to their scores across the board. If they win (which i doubt).

LSU fans after the OSU loss and the realization that Bama is now the clear #2.

Meh, Virginia Tech is a decent win but far from quality IMO. I'm just not impressed by them at all. No wonder they routed them by three Td's.

I heard one of the shows talking about this today. They said the ACC hasn't helped their case by pissing themselves in nearly every BCS bowl they've been a part of.

so has Oklahoma and Ohio St, didn't mess much up.

Clemson looks like an obvious choice if they could win out. They would have by far the best resume of all the 1 loss teams.

Yeah it does, and I'm sure the voters will be impressed. There isn't anything impressive about Virginia Tech's schedule though.

Same thing with Alabama, though.

We get it. You don't want to play Alabama again and desperately looking for a weaker team to play.

What do you think Bama's record would be with Clemsons schedule?

The ACC is nowhere nearing being credible enough at this point. Having a hard time seeing any ACC team with a loss in this discussion.
