Possibly send Arkansas to Kansas State or Louisville but since Kentucky will be sent to Louisville, looks like Razorbacks are going to Wildcat country and should coast.

I don't see Kentucky even getting into a regional.

The SEC would have to get 11 teams in for kentucky to make it.

Ouch for Arky and Ouch for the teams in the same Regional and Super as them. They can hang with anyone. Hope we don't see them until Omaha. Looks like LSU may get hosed on the Nat seed. Crazy that ACC has that many hosts.

I guess I was thinking Kentucky could squeeze in there but I was wrong.

Arkansas will be off to Louisville, book it.

Would rather be the 4 seed if Vandy is the 2. Not scared of UNC.

Hopefully they don't screw the SEC with too many SEC vs SEC Super Regional pairings.

Arkansas is within 400 miles of Manhattan, Kansas (travel guideline used by the committee) plus it is a "weak" one seed with the Hogs as a strong two. I'd be stunned if Arkansas doesn't go there.

Would they consider not sending them to k state because of the potential sec vs sec matchup if arky wins?

I wouldn't think so, because arky technically would not be favored to win the regional....though I would bet the house that arky walks out of that

There is nothing saying Manhattan and Baton Rouge Regionals have to be matched up. That is just speculation. Travel matters in SR matchups but not as much. Two different regional winners will have to go far west (Oregon and Oregon State likely), so Manhattan may well be one of them.

And no, the committee does not handicap regionals like that. There are four SEC hosts and three likely SEC two seeds (Arkansas, Ole Miss and Alabama) so they can only so much to avoid conference rematches in the Supers for leagues like the SEC and ACC.
