Miles full quote in TP this morning: "offensively, graduating two quarterbacks, there will be a definite shift in philosophy, an opportunity to be more balanced, pass-run combination, than we were in the back end of the season." If Miles learned anything from the BCSNC I hope it's this. Even Alabama knows you have to throw the ball downfield early and often at this level of football. I guess they really did have that little faith in the QB duo this season.

Hmmm, so what changed in the "back end of the season"?

in before we had that opportunity this year but chose not to.

Regardless, Miles will chunk it a lot more next year.

What bothers me is why didn't we do that this/last year!! If ZM is good enough to be the starter next/this year, then why wasn't he good enough to start over JJ and JL?

This is what is scary. With the Money Miles makes he should know this.

CYA. The only thing that happened at the 'back end of the season' was Miles' stubborn refusal to let JL do anything but take Victory snaps.

Agreed. I wasn't wishing for Lee to get in the game, I wanted Mett.

I love the fact that he said that. Almost the first sign of admitting a mistake. Almost...
