Offensive Scheme - LSU or USC

I like USC's better. I don't like the QB running. If the QB is running, that means, Williams, Tolliver, Lafell, Scott are not running.
So, I prefer USC's scheme. But I still hate USC. Give them credit though for the 3-pete, no i mean 2-pete, no that's right the 1-pete.

so, what's the point of having a mobile qb, if you aren't going to have them run, yeah, USC's offense is better, what's they score, 18 points the other night

SC can afford an immobile QB mainly because no one in their conference can rush the passer. Their OL is huge and might be as good as the asskissing media says. When it was time to beat OSU, they just punched the Bucks in the mouth and ran down their throats.

No doubt. On the road in front of 106k red clad fans. Barkley stepped up. Mcknight looks awesome.
Not a fan of USC by any means, but the next three years are going to be good to Petey.

USC won, so hats off for that.
But, did you watch the game? OSU controlled the game except for the final drive.
USC first scoring drive...3 yards on 4 plays.
Stats..
313 total yards with 87 yards on the last poss.
Barkley 15/31 for 195 yds.
Mcknight 16 carries for 60 yards.
Barkley will eventually be incredible, just not this year. OSU is good, but not as good as the media thinks.
Bottom line..
USC O-line is better than ours and thus their Scheme will look better this year than ours. I think we have more talent in the WR/RB positions as a unit than USC. But without a solid O-line it is hard to showcase it.

That's a valid point. I've just never been a fan of the running qb. I did not like it when Flynn would run either. I prefer the offense we played w/ Jamarcus.
Granted, Les does not call me for advice.

SC is not really very complicated. they run the shite out of inside and outside zone (I hate 'em but God it looks good when they run it). they play action with specific coverage beater concepts off of those two runs, and they isolate their athletes in space on mismatches.
Obviously there is a little more to their offense than that but what I mentioned above is probably about 75% of what they'll do this year, especially with a young QB.
The Tigers do a good job of getting it to their players in space as well. I really like the way they get Dickson chasing space in the short game. He's very good at it. Lafell has taken over Doucet's role in the option route package.
I can't say I prefer one over another. They both are tailored to personnel and fit well with what each coordinator has.

OSU the team that struggled against navy, good?
Washington may upset USC.

That would be great, but I doubt it. USC is far more complete than Washington.
Although, I would not be surprised to see Washington win 8 games and go to a decent bowl. And yes was very impressed w/ Locker.

Not really...both teams 2-0 with a long way to go. usc will get beat...so will we, it just depends on when and to who.

shouldn't that be "to whom"?

Okay. A win on the road in front of 105K agsainst a top 10 team is not really better than a win at home against a perennial dormat of the SEC.
It means more points in puter polls.

Well, Les does get advice from me, and I told him we clearly needed to see more of Scott up the middle.
