He's prolly more annoyed that Miles sent a black man into the Woodlands than anything else.

i'm not being negative, but the results on the field haven't lived up to the hype of miles/stud

LSU has had back to back 1,000 yard rushers from 2 different RBs in Hester & Scott for the first time since Dalton Hilliard & Harvey Williams in 1985 & 1986.

Charlie Mac never recruited offensive linemen. He only recruited defensive linemen. If they weren't good enough to play defensive line, he the converted them to the offensive line.

TigerTap, football fans are much less patient in the '00s, than in the 60's-70's. If less has caught hell for 10-2 seasons, do you really think if Charlie Mac were coaching at LSU today with his old results he would have lasted 18 seasons.

Some of the highest draft picks in the past have been recruited as TEs and DLs........develop those who are athletes.

Most of those that have left are not Les' fault. Now, you could hold him accountable for evaluating them during recruiting.....

The kid in The Woodlands is not necessarily at the top of LSU's list, but still an important recruit. If he is getting upset b/c the OL coach doesn't visit, then maybe he is just a future victim of attrition and we're better off offering to a less sensitive kid.

Gotta love a former band member grading a coach......hey, at least he got to watch games from the same side of TS for 4 years!

TigerBandAlumboy hates Miles because Miles had the nerve to hirer a few black assistant coaches.

This is the reason for the thread and some people are just never happy, no matter what.

"ciron coming back this year was SO HUGE for our team"

Just massive. It makes our losses on the OL reasonable to deal with and gives us every reason to believe that the OL will not be a problem as we play a young QB. What a great player Ciron has been for the program.

He is also good at converting players into lineman, see Barksdale. One of the top DT coming out of highschool in Michigan. Chose to go to LSU, converted to RT and is now on the brink of being all sec.

i trust miles
