Do you live in a cave? This board has CONSTANTLY brought up O suggesting offensive changes because the offense was very bad early in the season under underwhelming Canada. All HCs have input into the offense, at least the good ones. O should have the same right - his nuts are on the line. Your post is bizarre, and O has been pummeled on this subject.

So you’re saying the premise he was hired on (that he would refrain from doing just that) was ridiculous?
Which means you’re also saying he shouldn’t have been hired.

The amusing thing to me has always been, what head coach doesn’t meddle?? I realize that Coach O pretty much played like he wouldn’t interfere before he got the job, but that was just a game he was playing to get the job. Personally, I didn’t buy it for minute.
Does anyone really think it was Canada’ idea to kick the field goal?
LSU football is being directed by Coach O. The bowl L belongs to him and so does the 4 L season.
Doesn’t seem like much has changed for the good with LSU football since 2014, but we are paying a lot of money to coaches who no longer work for LSU to have pretty much the exact same results.
Doesn’t seem like to me that many sound college football decisions are being made at LSU.

Coach O was hired with the understanding he learned from his Ole Miss stint and he would hire the best OC and just let him do his job without interfering. 3 games into the season, O interfered with the offense and we ended up losing to Troy.
And what do ya know, after Alleva had to tell O to back off and let Canada coach our offense got better. But O didn't get along with him, so he canned his OC.
No wonder no one else was interested, shite Ensminger wasn't even interested.

everyone loved his barbecue and special "sauces". Also since he is the Head Coach he is going to have some say in the offense especially when the oc ISN'T GETTING THE JOB DONE. It is his arse that is on the line. Plus Canada wasn't much with making a good 'pecan sha o'lete'. Canada didn't have good 'sauces'

But who's going to be putting that on the chopping block? Is it Joe Alleva? No, because then his head goes on the block as well. Will it be F. King? No, because he is completely disinterested in the Athletic Department. I understand his principles as an educator are that school is first, he doesn't realize how much of a positive the AD at a school like LSU can be. My greatest fear is that Ed Orgeron won't be held to even a reasonable level of accountability and the people in charge will simply let him flounder past the point of sever damage to the program.
