9 of them counting today against Rodon of NCST have come against a left handed pitcher, with the way Eades has looked lately, you would think Glenn and a short hook with Cotton coming in, no need to save Cotten since it all matters tuesday.

UNC is a lefty-dominated lineup. CPM really has to start Glenn.

I see what you're saying but I'd like to use Cotton sparingly. We get past UNC, we'll surely need him.

If he can come in and do what he did in Hoover, that's the way to go.

if we score one run again won't matter who we have pitching. PM better change his strategy next game

Maneiri goes against the odds. He will gamble with Eades.

It'll be a completely different game. Like most baseball games are. One bad night. It's over.

I would throw glenn probably. You gotta go all in at this point anyway. I don't agree with bringing in cotton to do something that isn't his job though.

If he starts Eades, it's gonna be ugly. We gotta go with Glenn with all the lefties in the UNC lineup.

From Manieri's standpoint, you have to go with Eades. 2nd rd pick, 2nd starter all season vs. some guy who couldn't keep clean enough to even participate in the regionals.

If I'm Manieri, I go with Glenn, but the smart money is on Eades with a quick hook to Bonvillian.

You really don't, no.

Glenn may have screwed up off the field but he is a more reliable pitcher and better matchup for Tuesday on the field.

But if Glenn comes out and gives up 3 in the 1st, it's on Manieri for not starting Eades, the 2nd rd pick. On the other hand, if Eades gives up 3 in the 1st inning, it would be Eades' fault for not living up to his billing.

It's not fair or logical, but that's the way it is.

Do you honestly think Mainieri is going to pick a starter based on lower risk of blame if the choice fails? Really?

I'll have even more respect for Manieri if he starts Glenn, but Eades is the safe, CYA play.
