quote:I'm saying he'd be getting close to some tricky NCAA questions, and most HCs would not make any plans that could be construed as "football specific".
For the record, are you saying that Ed Orgeron couldn’t plan and supervise offseason workouts if he chose, without violating NCAA regs?
The S&C coach has much more leeway in what he considers to be S&C - even Marotti didn't make the reps mandatory, but he did make the machines easily available and ready for use at most any time.
And far more NCAA leeway for voluntary Jugs workouts. The biggest problem has always been easy and immediate access. Most elite passing programs have made that happen.
Maybe LSU has solved that since the end of April. Hope so.

Quit twisting what I told you about the jug machines. I told you how it works, and you turned it into one of your fake news facts. I'm tired of seeing you spread lies based off of what I told you. Before that, you had no fricking clue how it worked.
I'm going to hold you to the fact that you said you're going to leave once Burrow leaves. So after he isn't a top 5 QB pick in the draft, you need to come on here, say that you were wrong, and then ban yourself.

1. Telling your S&C coach to give players access to the machines is not football specific
2. This policy can be set at any time, including in season.
3. You’re fricking high if you think every HC doesn’t discuss off season conditioning programs with the S&C.
4. You make it seem like we’re preventing the WRs who want to do these voluntary workouts from doing them. Idk how O couldn’t just tell Moffit to let them.

Show our receivers the videos of Beckham and Landry using the Jugs and then their check stubs. If they aren’t demanding time then you’d have to question their mental stability

quote:Exactly. And it isn't always the WRs being less than enthusiastic. Much more often, there is no viable system for getting 30 or so receivers (TEs, WRs, RBs) ready daily access. Then when you add reps for all the DBs that want reps, most equipment rooms are too overwhelmed to accommodate the demand.

That is why I think Woody should get involved. And again, there are at least a half-dozen companies that make Jugs machines - who cares which brand, as long as they do the job.

You got your whole "jug appointments" fake news fact from what I told you a couple months ago. I responded to one of your man pointless jug threads saying that if players wanted to use the jugs late after hours they had to let Moffett or somebody know so they could open the building for them and set them up. It was right after that you started saying that wide receivers could only use the jugs "by appointment."

And you think our equipment room is too overwhelmed to accommodate based on what facts? Not assumptions, not your opinion, but facts

He should come become the WR coach, only one who knows how to use the machine

How many jugs machines does LSU currently have? I alone have asked you this question 3x in this thread, along with a bunch of other posters.
It's telling you either dance around it or simply act like the question hasn't been asked. In no way will this reveal the identity of your "source

I don't care if you're 80 years old and in a wheelchair. You're going to catch the ball MUCH better after almost 10,000 reps
Here is what most of the logically thinking people here understand, and what you seem to not. And this is the reason we think you are nothing more than a blabbering moron too.
Here is a textbook comparison. I used to shoot 100 free throws, 100 threes and 200 jump shots a day. I kept track of how many I made at each spot. Over a period of time I was shooting over 90% from the FT line, almost 50% from 3 and like 70% from 2. Did doing this help me become a better shooter? Absolutely without a doubt it did. Playing in a game though, I didn't shoot anywhere near that. Why not? Because there are other factors involved.
Not one single person ever said that jug machines would not help our WR's, but your insane, constant, STUPID argument is old and played out.

NO ONE is saying they get NO reps. I'm saying they aren't getting the minimum 100 reps a day that the elite programs get their receivers
were they getting enough reps when the previous coach was putting WR into the NFL pretty regularly?
Bowe ; Buster Davis ; Early Doucet ; LaFell ; D. Byrd ; Reuben Randle ; Odell ; Juice ; Malachi ;
heck even James Wright.
just curious
