This. People always rip on the greeks for getting there late and leaving early and not cheering enough. These are real and valid concerns and it pissed me off when I was in school and in the greek section.

I go both ways on this. Part of me gets pissed when they songs banned, and the other part of me understands what it was like to be a freshman and wasted for the games. Being worried about offending someone was not even on my list of give a fricks.
Maybe if the rest of the stadium wasn't so fricking quiet all the time and actually chanted "talkin out the side of ya neck"..it would drown out the student section.
Hell we don't ban the 1st down chant but the entire student section says "KICK THEIR arse" when you are supposed to say LSU. Know why? Because it's drowned out.

Such a shame it had to come to this point. We have some real trashy fans. I don't know who anyone thinks the obnoxious crap is cool. It's stupid kid stuff. Doesn't hurt the other side. Just makes us look like trashbag fans who don't really care about the game or the team. They're just there for their own entertainment.
I think it would be "cool" if the networks said they weren't putting LSU on TV because of the fans. That would take care of this and fill the stadium at the same time.
