Who else thinks he'll be good enough to take Shep's spot as the 1b?
Can you tell me the last true freshman receiver to make a major impact on an SEC team? My point is, it doesn't happen often. We've had some fantastic receivers at LSU and I can't think of one that I would consider "great" as a true freshman.
No doubt this kid is going to be good, but let's not get carried away.

Hello Odell Beckham Sr.
You were a great Tiger back in the day.

GoldMember, To answer the question of the last FR WR to make an impact: AJ Green hauled in 57 passes for 1217 yards and eight touchdowns as a freshman at GA. Julio Jones set Alabama freshman records for receptions (58), receiving yards (924) and receiving touchdowns (4). There you go, two very recent ones who made the defenses think twice about man coverage. It could happen, but give 'em time.

Beckham and Shep were the 2 most impressive receivers on Saturday. Beckham definitely has an impressive knack for getting open.
I doubt Beckham will steal any playing time away from Shep, but I could see him over taking Kadron Boone for the #3 wr spot at some point in the season.

IMO, OBJ has speed and smooth hips.
You can't tell me you don't feel at least a little gay saying a guy has "smooth hips"

Nah, merely a description of the effortles change of direction he has at top speed. Reminded a little of watching Trevon Reed in HS. I'm very secure in my masculinity. I'm certain most mature members got my drift, but thanks. I'll be carefaul to choose my words a little more carefully next time so as to not offend the occasional juvey, dude.

Sounds good. And sounding less gay would be more important than whether or not someone was offended.

I mean the dude is a flat out baller, he can run past any defender and make anyone miss. Sky's the limit for ODB
