I think one of the recovers will return. I think freak is coming back too. He's got to know he's not a next level player. I think he could greatly contribute to the university in some capacity after his 4 yrs here.

Sub 4.3? You realize there's only maybe one guy a year that runs a sub 4.3 at the combine?

It was a typo.

I meant sub-4.35.

I have to disagree. Sub-6'-0" guys who run 4.44 never get drafted in the first round.

Tavon Austin 4.34 gets drafted in 1st round.
DeSean Jackson 4.35 gets drafted in 1st round.

Whereas:
Kenny Stills 4.38 gets drafted in the 5th round.
Steve Smith 4.39 gets drafted in the 3rd round.

The draft is a whole different animal. Fractions of seconds are insanely scrutinized in the draft to the point of sheer ridiculousness.

He's too electric with the ball in his hands; can run the route tree; has huge hands; tremendous leaping ability; incredible quickness and a football I.Q. off the charts.

I agree. But draft measurables, down to the minutia, literally blind GMs & scouts to what they have actually witnessed on gameday. Point is, 5-11 OBJ doesn't sniff the 1st round like an earlier poster insisted, unless OBJ runs a 4.35 or faster.

After he saw Jennings keep his cool and hit that pass in stride he might be thinking the qb might not be a problem next year...

That being said, I'd be shocked if he came back. His draft stock will never be higher...but I'd love to see him one more year in purple and gold.

Don't think he wants to miss out on 4-5 mill 2nd round money with a 1.5-2 mill bonus. Nowadays, it's almost certain that you get all your money guaranteed because of the wage scale. If you are not heavily injured or a problem player or not a fifth or lower rounder, it is a given that you get all your money as long as your on the team.

Woods got 6.7 mill total last year in the 2nd round and that's where I think he goes.

This year's draft class if loaded at WR. He might not even be in the top 5. He's going to hafta run something Usain Bolt-esque to go in the first round.

He'll go late second.

Where is this electricity? He's been so-so as a punt returner. He's a good WR, but what has he done after the catch? He'll be a third receiver on an average NFL offense. That's pretty good, but I'm not seeing first round and maybe not second.
