Those trinkets didn’t do a damn thing to win a game, You young asses care only about show and not substance.

The only people he seems to bother are LSU fans. I'm sure if the players and coaches didn't want him around or were tired of his "antics", he wouldn't be around.

Is he hurting anyone? Let’s revisit this if the NCAA bastards get involved because of his stupid stunt. Fake, real, whatever, it was plain stupid.

The very expensive “trinkets” are a nice recruiting tool, that is used to recruit better players, who in turn, help us win games. Stop just looking at things on a surface level.

News flash, young players like swag. They like to look cool and look like the pros. They literally try to emulate Odell in every aspect. The hair, accessories, and the way he literally catches the football.

Sorry that we’re not in the days have tear away jerseys and LSU celebrating an 8 win season. I mean joe burrow May be the cockiest a-hole in the history of college football. And guess what, he just had the best season in college football history.

Why are we being forced to talk about HIM right now? Why aren't we being allowed to bask in the warmth of winning the national championship and talking about that? frick Beckham for the stupidity of the stunt he pulled. There is no amount of "good" he could ever do or have done to wipe off the stain he has put on LSU's hard earned national championship in the eyes of college football fans across the nation. frick him with a telephone pole and ban him from ever being near LSU again. This should have been that team's moment to enjoy the spotlight and he stole it from them so it could be about HIM. frick him.

Don’t you know by now you can’t say anything negative about a person of color without the defense being “you are racist”! In what world is it conceived as acceptable to put money in an athlete’s hands after a game without caring about negative perception and don’t care about consequences?

I’d rather have Ben Simmons represent LSU than OBJ

I think LSU fans are making this toxic, so you are correct.

TAW. He's a blight on this year's great season.

Sad to see. Was my worst fantasy player. Should have benched him.

The players obviously love him, get over it.

I’ve been very fond of people who probably weren’t the greatest person to hang out with or be around when I was younger as well. Doesn’t mean they were a positive influence.

I’m watching the “Field Pass” replay on ESPN+ and the 2nd quarter just started. So far, he is the ONLY person on either sideline who has managed to draw attention away from the ESPN sideline reporters and onto himself. Only one!

The guy takes narcissism to a whole different level.

I think he's good for the program. This guy sneaks into the student section and texts words of encouragement to our players. He's also very loud and a goofy - but so is the rest of Louisiana.

I just wish he wasn't throwing cash around the field after the game (real or fake).

Obj was with the singer Drake and watched Drake beat the crap out of a waiter without intervening at all. Drake was mad there was no table ready for him. There is a video out there somewhere. This is when I lost respect for OBJ.

I don’t want OBJ near this campus again until he doesn’t do bone headed shite like that ever again. That can get us in trouble so he doesn’t like LSU

From what I heard about this team they blocked out the noise to focus on winning. They didn't hang out in the clubs to focus on winning. They kept each other accountable to focus on winning. They controlled their behavior, college kid impulses and actions to focus on winning.

Then OBJ comes in and behaves 180 degrees from what the team committed to doing in order to win. Hopefully it was a one night bad decision on his part and doesn't seep into the culture of the team moving forward.

He has given much to this team and previous teams. When a gift is given, you look at the why and how the gift was given. I am not saying he is a bad person but he seems to make stupid decisions and definitely is an attention seeker. If he truly loves LSU, maybe he should re-evaluate some of his actions. Winning with class is honorable.
