10 wins, a NY6 victory and finishing ranked #6 in the polls is a pretty successful season. Finishing top 5 in recruiting is pretty damn successful as well. It's only one season and it will need to continue to improve for his tenure to be considered successful. Hopefully that's what we will see in 2019 and beyond.
here we go, another synchophant of the shrimp boat captain.

2018 was a decent year and made better by the recent class.

Go look at the 2015 roster and compare that to 2018. Fournette, Guice, Dupree, Dural, Duarte, V. Alexander, Pocic, etc.
2018’s roster wasn’t even close.
Well that sounds lopsided mainly because of LF (Guice was barely a factor in 2015), but our WRs were at least as talented in 18 and obviously our QB was much better in 18. Why not mention that??
As for the OL, the 15 unit certainly played better for the majority of the year, but odds are the NFL draft will judge the 18 group as more talented than the 15 line. That’s what counts when discussing OL, right LE?
And for the record I haven’t shite on the 18 offense, just like I didn’t on the 15 offense. 15 was an outstanding run offense that had the misfortune of facing three excellent run defenses in a row at the end of the year and a QB that couldn’t keep them honest.
18 had an offense that didn’t have an identity and wasn’t great at anything but had a QB that was often able to hurt defenses at critical points in games.
That ended up with two similarly ranked offenses and identical team records. Just looked different getting there but ultimately not vastly dissimilar when it was all said and done.
Good stats as always, Rick

What's your prediction for 2019?

“ DiNardo”
Took over a program in the throes of such misery a Independence bowl reward for the team was seen as a major accomplishment.
Watching Kevin destroy Michigan State and nick was a sign of the good things to come.

No, that's stupid. It's also overly emotional and opinionated.

Well, he has a point. Les was slipping big time. he decided that he held all the cards and he ignored Alleva's demand that he fix the offense. He chose pissing match that he ultimately lost.

He is just producing the same win loss numbers with a worse offense

Ive been saying this since the fiesta bowl. I just don't classify 7 losses in 2 years as doing a great job.

O wasn’t hired “instead of” Herman or Fisher. Those two turned us down. They weren’t coming here. So to say we hired him instead of those two is like saying all three of them will come, we have to pick who we want and that we picked O...which isn’t what happened. It’s time to move on and accept he’s the coach and that he’s doing a pretty good job.
