I just know we have him for 3-4 yrs and being critical about everything he does isn't going to accomplish anything.
This is true. But the same thing took place when Miles was here. The constant criticism wasn't going to accomplish anything then either.
But it sure as hell didn't stop some of you guys from doing it. So I don't see the need for people to get all pissy about o being questioned when the same thing happened to the previous staff and the staff before that one and on and on and on.

the only thing that saved us was that Ethling's family knew Cam so he got an invite and transferred.
The exact same way Burrow's family knew Busch (who knew Aranda) so he got an invite and transferred.

It takes more than a year to change an offense. As much as I criticized Miles for his archaic offense I just wanted him to allow an OC to run his own offense bc I can’t think of any OC’s that will run over and over into the strength of a defense like Miles did.

Even after he beats Saban, Jimbo, Mullen, and Herman in 2019 (actually much more likely than people think)...we'll continue to see posts just like this one for years....so, in other words, I concur with the OP...

I'm not saying that any side should be banned at all. Chicken should just appoint me to moderate the board. I could get creative and totally avoid bannage
See I had already addressed it and solved it without anyone getting banned
I would be known for my benevolence, fairness and compassion. The rant would be launched into an age of knowledge and understanding.
Ricky would finally be able to separate O's and Les's work in order to constructively combine the two. Not that it would help the team but it would give him something to do instead of driving us crazy.
We could give Ree his own board. He could post all of his threads on his very own Ree board. That way he wouldn't clutter up the rant with useless topics so the intellectual powerhouses here could have their daily discussions solving the worlds problems.
Anyway that's just a start. I'm open for suggestions

quote:Except that Orgeron wanted a new QB asap since he recognized that what he had after year 1 was not enough. Do you think Miles wanted Etling in the same way? He seemed completely content with a subpar Harris. If we got an extra defensive score against Wisconsin Etling was never going to start.
The exact same way Burrow's family knew Busch (who knew Aranda) so he got an invite and transferred.
Bottom line is that Orgeron is a better coach than Les was when he was fired, and Les hasn't shown he is any better today yet. Maybe Les was a better coach 10 years ago, but that was then.
If you want to compare career numbers it is silly. It would be like comparing Will Wade to Dale Brown.

I think it will shut people up about ensminger. If not I will grab a pitchfork also.
People have every right to complain about the state of our offense after two years of the crap O has given us when HE is the one who said he was going to hire the very best.

I say great
The only final ranking which was important was the playoff final rankings which had us eleventh. This is no longer the BCS era, but the playoff era and eleventh isn't great.

Face it, under Orgeron a lot of the annoying management issues on offense are gone.
ZERO points against Bama the last two times we played them at home???????
Sorry dude/..................

Simply put Miles was doing a pathetic job at offense when he left, just like most years. Orgeron in year 2 has an equal offense by elevating Miles' QB coach and getting rid of Les himself
bullshite. Our 2015 offense had more yards per game and points per game than Ohio state, baman and fsu(when they were good).
Our 2018 offense was less productive than every miles offense except 2009.
If you thought miles'offenses were shite id like to hear what you think about less productive offenses under O.
quote:
But if you want to compare Les and Saban to Orgeron now, you can say that Saban > Orgeron > Miles.
Miles has as many national title game appearances as O has winning seasons.

You just focused on the negatives and not the positives in the your previous post.
It's obvious you want O to lose.

Only playoff teams have great seasons...is that the standard now?

And should I even mention how far special teams fell under Miles and how quickly Orgeron fixed them?
Our special teams were some of the best in the country under miles. They didnt start sucking until O took over. Also, our special teams still suck outside of our fg kicker.

What? We are vastly less productive under O. You do realize that you can look this shite up right?
Before the a&m game we were 102nd in offensive tds per game.
We didnt throw a passing td for a month.

Oh hey its another poster that whines about facts being posted.
Im sorry facts shite on your opinion. Deal with it.
Our 2015 offense was actually pretty decent and our 2018 offense was garbage.
We went from 2015 where good rushing defenses gave us problems to 2018 where Southeastern shut us down for 63 yards and 3 1st downs in a half.
These are facts pout and gargle. Not some opinion.

For a program like LSU I would say yes. I guess I would put it to this way, if 2018 was a great season what would you call an 11-1 season with a playoff oppurtunity?

All i saw you post all year was that O wasnt a good coach, wasnt the right coach for lsu, and that our offense was garbage
