Idk. If I were Wade and I had an ax to grind, I’d go out of my way to recruit players he likes from LSU to further twist the knife. Also could be good for morale if downtrodden ex LSU players have success with Wade. It could stick it to the LSU athletic department for firing him and further enhance the self inflicted injury. I’ve got no sources this is happening, but if I were Wade and wanted to try and get the last laugh, I would certainly be looking at doing this. A real FU to Woodward and Tate.

Unless Cam Carter is entitled to another year, I don't think there is anybody on this roster he's looking at.

Idk. If you’ve been done super dirty, I think a lot of people would look to get back at who the perceived wrong then. Poaching LSU players and developing them would be an apples to apples comparison to further support how this was a terrible decision.

You'd think wrong. And Will Wade getting level 1 allegations from the NCAA and then getting fired, isn't getting done dirty. It's how the world works. Wade knew it too. The only people who can't wrap their minds around the situation are some LSU fans. The same thing happened to Bruce Pearl. He got caught doing something he shouldn't, lied to his boss about it, lied to investigators about it, got in trouble with the NCAA, and lost his job. He didn't hold a grudge against Tennessee for firing him either, quite the contrary actually. And Tennessee sucked through 2 head coaches after Bruce Pearl.
Successful people are worried about their careers. Taking players from the team you coached before the team you currently coach as some kind of dig at your old employer isn't how successful people remain successful

He was recruiting Ward before he was fired. That's was McMahon's in with Ward when he was hired. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if he looks there, though I don't know if you can call Ward one of LSU's players anymore. I suspect he also has some knowledge on Chest given the Louisiana ties. I wouldn't be surprised if he sees him as an Emmit Williams type of player (which is who Chest always reminded me of). Outside of those two, I don't know about anyone else.
Wade used an analytics service to mine the portal when he was at LSU (that's how he identified Eason). I suspect he still does. He's not just going to be a guy who strictly looks for "connections" to former stops/states.

why would wade want any players from the past season's lsu roster?
