They talking about ensminger.

I think people had rumored some of the coachrs got into on the way home from bama last season. He was one of them.

BDP is an overall negative to the program. His coaching is 50 times worse than his recruiting ability.

Just ignore his first stint? He was the linebackers coach when LSU won in 07. Ali Highsmith, who was undersized and ran poorly at the combine, was an All American under him.

Despite what people think, the only thing that has been terrible this year is punting.

Our annoying kickoff strategy is actually working. Our opponents average a worse starting field position after kickoffs than most teams.

He is 100% worth his recruiting if just our punting sucks. We aren't doing shite this year anyway and he is an elite recruiter. We need to make sure we keep the cupboard full for the next coach. One bad year of recruiting can set top programs back years.

It was Ole Miss, but it's obvious how the rest of the coaching staff felt about it. I mean, Ensminger is running the offense now.

There have been too many things pointing to it. That's isn't to say that things were bad between them - but if your job came down to 12-14 very important days a year and you didn't feel like your boss was doing the best stuff for those days, I'm sure there were frustrations.

def was some division amongst the offensive coaching staff, prob through the last 3-4 years, said they were all pulling against each other in different directions, now should be pulling in the same direction.

I am not surprised in the least. In fact, I'd be more surprised if there hadn't have been a comment like this.

Most people who have played or coached football know that the relationships, opinions, and dynamics of the coaching staff are complex. It's not as simple as all of the assistant coaches falling in line with the HC like a bunch of blissful lemmings. Loyalty to the HC =/= agreement with the HC.

You've got a group of different guys - many of which want to rise through the ranks and become OCs, DCs, and HCs themselves - and you better believe they study up and research what other teams are successful doing.

It's not hard to imagine LSU's offensive coaches being frustrated with the product that is put onto the field.

That's why I won't be surprised to see LSU's offense turn it on. I predict they will look like a completely different team Saturday.

That's what he was saying. Great recruiter, and apparently a bad coach.

Aside from the terrible punting, the onside kick coverage was pretty sorry. That is an example of where coaching is most apparent

I don't believe that is it at all you need to check out the comment he made about Bradley Dale being in charge of special teams only he wanted one person in charge.

Less would have many coaches involved in every aspect of the game. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Now there's going to be one coach in charge of one thing. Therefore, you won't have two or three coaches wanting to do different things.

His comment about one person being responsible for time management indicates the same thing.
